That's fair. It reminds me of 'Another World' when Anna Stuart was recast with Philece Sampler. Yikes!

Though nothing tops Chistel Khalil (Lily, Y&R) being mom to 17-year old kids. I think she may have been 32 or 33 at the time. So wrong.

I hope she stays on B&B forever, not because I like her or think she's a decent recast for Hunter Tylo because she's not (very few actresses are as stunningly gorgeous as 1980s/90s Tylo).  I am just glad this means she won't ever be on GH again. That would be the real travesty!

I think that casting Lesley-Anne Down (born 1954) as the mother of Jack Wagner (born 1959) on B&B stretched credibility a bit as well.

Wow. I had no idea the bio-ages were so close. It's a credit to Down and Wagner to pull it off for so many years. It was still a weird relationship, but we know B&B loves that kind of innuendo.

I wonder if that's a soap record for the smallest age difference between parent and child? I suppose a soap may have pulled some sort of Golden Girls thing where Estelle Getty was a year younger than her TV daughter Bea Arthur!
