No need to bump, everyone knows the Tracy post rules the forum, we don't need to qualify any challengers... :D

I like any spoiler that has Tracy on a power trip. At least I know it will be amusing for 1 minute until the writers inexplicably crush her. Why can't Luke reopen LUKE'S? The Haunted Star is such a lame set. At least with Luke's, all you had to do to get everyone in the same room was find someone to play a show. Haunted Star: "Hey everyone! Let's all go gambling!" Whatever. I hope Tracy sells the place once and for all.

LOL smirks. Good point.

Hmm...Since this is an "all-cast" event, any chance Ned will show up? He and Tracy need to be discussing ELQ or something.

Oh one more thing...Was anyone else disappointed that Tracy didn't mention Brook Lynn yesterday after Georgie defended Diego? Are we supposed to assume she no longer exists? <_<

I'm afraid that Ned is going to exist solely for holidays, weddings, and funerals from now on. And really really random appearances to fill out Quartermaine get-togethers. He is the new Tony Jones. New viewers will tune in and say, "Hey! Who's that?" "Oh, it's Tracy's other son, Ned." "Where has he been?" "Oh, 'away on business.'" "Oh? What does he do?" "Ummm...he runs a record label...we think. He has no employees or talent (by which I mean recording artists, because Ned is very talented), and he's still looking for investors (many years later)." "Oh, too bad. He has nice dimples."

I REALLY MISS NEDLY! I miss his snark, and his dimples, and his charm and gentlemanlyness. And his singing. And...well, pretty much everything. I miss Nedly. Maybe they'll use him a bit more when you know who comes back?

And then, when we've all but forgotten about Ned, they will bring Brooke Lynn back to town, and make her totally unrecognizeable to us as a character. She will never mention her dad, or music, and will through the worst retcon ever written, end up being Sonny's OR she will end up sleeping with the mobspawn or maybe even the mobster himself. Then I will cry and realize that all is lost and turn off GH for the rest of my life. /depressive thinking.

It's funny you should say that you're on your teacher's CPU b/c I'm in the lab and I'm not supposed to be on this site lol. I've already gotten two detentions behind GH, but oh well.

I've been checking this place out for awhile and I justed wanted to give a "hello". So: HI! It's always good to meet other TQ fans :D

Oh, yeah, anybody see today's show? Any Luke and Tracy?

AND! Many thanks for showing love for my fic over there on ff.net (I'm La Red over there). It made my day :D

Aww, I'm sorry about that, ILoveTracyQ. :(

I loved the kiss too, tracyluver. Is it too much to hope that it leads somewhere? Oh, who am I kidding? I thought the Charitable Endowment scenes in July were going to lead somewhere, LOL. I'm tired of the whole "1 step forward, 2 steps back" thing. It's not that I have a problem with taking it slowly. I'm glad that Lacy isn't an Insta!Romance. I just want something more than the same-old, same-old.

I also love your avatar, smirks.

angel has her Spoiler Ficathon story here! It's really good! :D

And welcome 4XCrazy! It's always good to have another TQ fan on board! I'm looking forward to the next chapter of Homelands. It's very "real" if that makes sense. BTW, no Luke/Tracy today (according to the Live Post at SZ). :(

Clue: "Funny times are ahead for this couple."

Answer: Luke/Tracy

Funnier than usual? Is this even considered a spoiler? LOL. It's almost like saying, "Sonny feels betrayed." Guess we'll see. TG and JE can both bring the laughs, and I'll gladly welcome any scenes with the two of them, even though comedy routine has gotten old. Note to TIIC: They can do SO much more!

    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.

    • Ah! Good to hear. Isn't it especially odd to think that house fictionally exists not far from the Karrs?  Or, that it was designed non-fictionally by the same person who designed April's place?
    • Good to know I'm not the only one who noticed that. Strange and awkward, and I don't know what they're doing with those fades.   -- Finally, had to laugh at how many Emmys this board passed out today.

    • Not unless they live in an apartment complex.

    • That was bad. Product placement is fine, but not here, not now. Besides, no one carries their damn detergent to the living room.   Completely and utterly disagree. I thought Brandon Claybon was excellent today -- maybe his best performance since the show started. No recast needed.   Not unpopular with me. That didn't work. The montage was good, but 5 minutes of Amazing Grace? With all those verses? No. What kind of family breaks into a loud version of Amazing Grace after what just happened??? None. Anita's lecture to Leslie was great. Ending the show -- a really good episode with crackling dialogue -- like that was a mistake.
    • Today, was a fantastic episode. I loved everything about, including Ainta singing, Amazing Grace. I love the family dynamic of the Dupree's so much. They remind me of my own family at times. Martin & Smitty have come leaps and bounds from where they  started. I genuinely felt a connection between them I can't wait to watch it deepen. Dana/Leslie/Sherry/Ana is a piece of work. Her speech at the Dupree's about her "concern" for Eva and then locking her out of their apartment??? She is pure evil, but I love it. I can't wait to see where the Eva/Kat story goes. There's so much potential there. As for Ted, I need to see Keith Robinson in the role before giving my true critique of Maurice Johnson.
    • I don't recall that we ever saw the exterior of the Madison house.  BUT the interior is definitely Mission Revival.  It has a wrought-iron staircase, and all the doorways & corridors have archways.  I watched a few old episodes over the weekend from that period and really noticed for the first time how uniquely Mission Revival the set is.
    • I know Daphnee's back hurts, because she was carrying Maurice through those scenes! Still not loving the idea of replacing the actor, but he was giving very little.  Brandon's scenes with Leslie did not hit the way they were supposed to because I was busting out laughing.  One thing I enjoy about this soap is how it plays with the nuance of good and evil. Kat vs Eva and Anita vs Leslie. There are some things that Kat and Anita said that makes it hard to root for them and how the Duprees can be family over everything to a fault. It almost makes them come across as entitled and unlikely at times. And while what Lesile and Eva have done is wrong in different ways, you can see that hurt and sympathize.  Now, what I don't get is what Lesile thought she was doing expecting the Duprees to accept Eva with open arms. Honey, Eva is a Richardson not a Dupree. In the Dupree world, she's Ted's problem unless they choose otherwise, because there ain't a drop of Dupree blood coursing throught her veins (unless we learn otherwise in some twist). Ted is lucky if they don't disown his ass.
    • I think maybe viewers needed a break from Aaron Spelling by 1985 or 1986. He had a series, Macgruder and Loud, which I recall, even as a young teen, getting TONS of promotion with even a post-Super Bowl slot, and it failed. Viewers probably were - as said here - tired of soapy fare and went elsewhere. But they must have missed him since, as we know, Spelling rose from the TV ashes in the '90s with Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place!
    • I’ve been enjoying the pace the show has taken recently. Things don’t languish as long as they have and if they are drawing something out, like Gio’s adoption, it’s hasn’t been as excruciating. Also, my nosey nature would appreciate less interaction with posters I have on ignore so I don’t have to click on “options”.
