“Live with Kelly and Mark” was the most watched and highest-rated daytime talk show (network or syndicated) during the week of May 6-10, 2024, the most recent week in which syndicated ratings are available.

Hosted by “All My Children” alums Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, the show averaged 2.228 million viewers, a 0.27 rating among Women 18-49 and a 0.46 rating among Women 25-54.

Factoring in competition among the daytime broadcast shows during the same week, “Live with Kelly and Mark” would have ranked third in Women 18-49, tied with “The Young and the Restless” and the second half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal,” each with a 0.27 rating.

In Women 25-54, only “The Young and the Restless” (0.47 rating) and the two half hours of “The Price is Right” (0.50 rating / 0.59 rating) rated higher. Similarly, “Live with Kelly and Mark” would have rated sixth among Total Viewers when factoring in competition with daytime broadcast.

Compared to the same week last year, “Live” was up +1% in both Total Viewers (2.228 million vs. 2.197 million) and Households (1.50 rating vs. 1.49 rating).

Season-to-date (09/04/2023-05/12/2024), “Live with Kelly and Mark” ranks as the No. 1 entertainment talk show for the fourth consecutive season and the top daytime talk show among Women 25-54 (0.51 rating) for the fifth consecutive season. The show is also No. 1 in Women 18-49 (0.31 rating) against its daytime talk competition (network or syndicated).

Among daytime syndicated talkers, “Live” is No. 1 in all key categories for the fourth consecutive season, including Total Viewers (2.360 million), Households (1.57 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.51 rating). By comparison, its closest competition averages just 1.310 million viewers, a 0.89 rating in Households and a 0.29 rating in Women 25-54.

“Live with Kelly and Mark” is distributed in national syndication by Disney Entertainment. The show is produced by WABC-TV in New York City and executive produced by Michael Gelman and Kelly Ripa.

I wonder why The View’s press releases stopped mentioning Live with Kelly & Mark? The View always claims to be #1 and they used to claim being #1 over Kelly & Mark and now The View still claims to be #1 but they don’t mention Kelly & Mark anymore in their press releases.

Just as aside: I have been in the audience at times for all of the iterations of the show and Kelly and Mark are by far, the best in terms of interacting with the audience during commercials. They can’t talk to everyone, but they try.

    • Portugal qualifying was the only shocker. I'm really happy for Iceland. IMO, the automatic finalists – Spain, Switzerland and Italy – had the best performances. I love the studio version of Azerbaijan, but on stage, it was a disaster.

    • Randy (Doug's friend who works for Joey) -- Joey told Randy weeks ago that Joey's plan was to get Doug into so much debt that Doug would be forced to get Vanessa's real estate holding turned over to Joey, to use for money-laundering.  That's been the plan all along, which the viewers knew.  The only thing new is that Joey finally told Doug this. I think Joey is written badly.  I also think Jon Lindstrom is doing "Now I am going to act menacing".   But I don't really feel the menace.  It's too overdramatic and it doesn't feel like a real person.  Jon is a fine actor on GH, so I don't know what's happening here -- the entire BTG mobster premise is badly designed/written.  I don't know if Guza pushed for a mobster storyline?  Or did Jon?  (Jon wrote a novel about Hollywood mobsters). It just doesn't fit.  It feels (to me) like this storyline for Jon was just shoved onto the canvas but it doesn't fit all all. Monday's scene of Mona coming into the "casino" to check up on where Leslie supposedly lost money in the slot machines -- and Randy explaining to Mona that there are no slot machines, there is nothing but the card room.  I had to laugh because they had characters comment that it's just a card room and not a casino -- the show is now acknowledging that there's nothing there.  If they are going to do this, then have it make sense for Fairmont Crest residents to visit a high-end glamourous casino, and not a random room with one table. So what money is Joey laundering? A while back, Joey told Vanessa that he knows about her sexual philandering because owns the escort service that she'd been using. But I don't care...  I'd just prefer that the entire mobster storyline go away.
    • I caught up this past weekend. The show is better written, but I have been bored with the show. I did notice it ranked in the top 5 again this week, so that's a good sign.
    • I can't take this show seriously. I truly miss WJB writing this show. Bradley didn't inherit his dad's talent.
