I'm so excited about Liam meeting up with Ivy and Steffy and Hope being jealous and....wait...no...I'm literally not excited about ANY of that.

Happy nine toes, mints, and staplers to you all!!

I really miss when random people would tell Carter he was "just like family" all the time. We don't get that anymore.

Am I the only one that gagged when Deacon just... took one old lying in the trash bottle of SPORT drink and started sipping it IN Sheila's mouth. This was so stupid. God knows who used to drink from this bottle and the bacteria that's been living in it. No sane person will do this. DISGUSTING. Also what are you both doing staring at her eyes and smiling at her. Call the ambulance and get that b-tch out of her pee soaked mattress.

This show will start attracting viewers by just how BAD is it. People will really start tuning in to see what is that god awful circus show everyone is ranting about. It is already doing this. Don't get me started on Biberty's acting attempts. I don't want to trigger the easily triggered.

But... EVERYONE looks so stupid in this storyline. I don't think even Susan Flannery could have done it. The writing is BEYOND BAD.

The ending with this sentimental music and everyone so giddy and happy that the demon lived. Did we forget this is a serial killer? I can name the people that woman has killed or shot and tried to kill - they are NUMEROUS. This is a person who needs to be in an insane asylum or a jail. But okay, it's a soap... but ... why that over-dramatic music and Finn making his sour-face calling her Mommy. Deacon looking at her like she is Mary the mother of Jesus.

And now... Ivy comes back and without any build up or anything... she is there ready to kiss and lick Liam's face. This show is so sexist and so chauvinist. OF COURSE Ivy is not over LIAM. Since he is SOOOO amazing, and so great... WHAT A LEADING MAN... Give me a break. Liam is as close to a MAN, as Sheila is close to being a human being. I am talking about the character - not the actor - Scott is actually hot - I'm liking him as he is ageing. But the character SUCKS and I'm sorry - they write him in the most boring way possible.

Ivy is a disturbing occurrence to me... that's the last person this show needs. This is telling me Bradley is SO OUT OF TOUCH that he is spinning in his own sh-t and thinking it's smells of roses, when everyone smells POOP.

The mints storyline is something ELSE - to attempt to do this storyline 2024 in such horrific and irresponsible way, in the tone of sexist rape apologist... shows me the person in charge has lost his mind.

Now Thudley is probably hard work on his next catchphrase.

If I had to take a wild guess, Steffy will buy her dear cousin The Vine a pair of dark sunglasses as a gift. These sunglasses make it pretty dark, so dark that the Vine accidentally hugs and kisses Finn at Il Giardino thinking the Finn is Liam. So all we’re hear about is “dark sunglasses” for weeks and months.

I thought the same thing!!! Like, CALL AN AMBULANCE AND THE POLICE! Don't just smile all googly-eyed at her. And, God knows what was in that random sports drink bottle.

While God was giving out brains, Finn and Deacon were busy Googling "What is sugar?"

Happy that I'm not alone... The way he just grabbed the bottle in the dark and started pouring the BLUE liquid in her mouth was like... WHO WRITES THESE THINGS... If that sports drink had SUGAR or anything carbohydrate in it - just being opened without someone drinking it... will make it TOXIC in a couple of days. And imagine someone taking a sip, with their MOUTH full of bacteria... in couple of days this bottle will be PURE POISON. And who is the script writer of this episode. I need to know who wrote this.

Is it necessary to post the same thing twice? We got it. The sad thing in his case is that when he is wearing that hat, nobody is laughing. He is really cringey-bad and if Bradley was not so out of it, Finn would have been re-cast by now.

    • I also really enjoyed Eva's scenes with Kat today. They have an interesting chemistry. I thought it really did feel a bit like sisters at conflict. Especially with the way that Eva was trying to convince Kat to forgive Ted and them both coming to the conclusion that the man they thought was their father was different wasn't who they really thought he was initially. And the way that Eva broke down when Kat said that she was dead to her was emotional stuff. I really do think that in spite of their conflict/bickering Eva really would have loved to have gained a sister, along with a brother, father, etc... Also, I thought it was interesting how Eva kept saying that she loves Ted and Nicole. That and Leslie mentioning that Kat/Eva are almost twins really does make me wonder if Kat may really be her twin and Nicole's as well. I would gladly welcome that outcome, even if it takes a while for it to come out. At this point Leslie doesn't deserve Eva as a daughter as far as I'm concerned. And I would forward to a storyline where we found out that she's Nicole's second baby girl, and all the complex and ultimately happy feelings that would bring Nicole. Eva/Kat could still have a rivalry, especially if Nicole ended up bonding more with Eva. And then we could get the rest of the family's reaction to that as well.

What you NOT gonna do to me!
    • Bravo to every single person responsible for today's episode. From the writer on down to Kraft services. Yall I'm getting emotional but I wish my granny was here to have seen this soap since she was the one to introduce me to this medium.

    • Everything is fraught with confusion. Why is Leslie pleading with the Duprees to accept Eva? She's not biological family so what is this? She's the product of an affair with their in-law so Leslie wants them to accept her? I'm getting GOOD TIMES vibes of Leslie and Eva minus the physical abuse.
    • Big fan of today's writing. In particular, I like EJ complexity, crying over Johnny and conspiring at the same is tough to pull off in the same episode, but it goes very far in explaining EJ's motives. I don't hate the idea of Cat and EJ, and I especially appreciate everyone trying to warn her, but she is sticking to the plan. Boy oh boy, when Brandon Beemer wears a shirt that matches his eyes, I get lost in the screen!
    • Yeah, I think that Leslie's speech would have had a bit more of an impact if Ted had been the Dupree's son, with Nicole being the daughter in law they loved like a daughter. But being that he's the son in law, and that Eva (at least not right now) isn't technically a Dupree, it doesn't hold as much weight. They aren't caring much for Ted right now and their feelings could be trickling down to Eva. Though, I do think they have some sympathy for her. I really enjoyed today's show. Loved a stripped, down hurt but still strong in her resolve Nicole. DD continues to shine and shows why she is IMO the heart of the show. I felt her words, and anger at Ted and how she broke down in Kat's arms at the end. She is just wonderful all the way around. I also loved the way that Anita read Leslie. She was spot on about her and how mishandled everything with Ted and Eva. And speaking of Leslie... I immediately thought the same thing once I saw that scene. That what she exhibited was trash behavior. I don't think she's a good mother. In fact, I think she's lousy. Granted, I have missed some episodes, but I haven't really seen her do anything to indicate that she really cares for Eva or her well being. All she's really done is try and manipulate/use Eva for her own agenda since she came to town.
    • I thought Brandon C was much more believable as Martin today.  Before, I watched an actor trying to portray a character.  Friday and today, I simply felt the character.
    • The way Leslie uses her love shower Eva with and then snatches it away when Eva doesn’t do what she wants is something that should be focused on down the road.    Great end to the episode overall and kudos to the writing and production team for carefully executing all of this.
