I love this performance as well as loving the song. I am a breast cancer survivor. After my bilateral lumpectomies I had to undergo radiation therapy, 3 days a week for 18 weeks & they had us pick music, which would be played while the targeted radiation would be shot at us. Anyway, you get the idea. My lead song which was my theme was this song. So, it's very meaningful to me.

Oh, this is going to make me tear up. I'm so proud of you. You are my warrior. F-ck cancer! I lost one of my grandmothers to this... and I just pray that one day I'll live to see this thing eradicated completely from the face of Earth. I believe Medicine will do it one day. I just hope I'm alive to see it.

I'm so sorry you  lost your grandmother to this dreadful disease. I wish Science would find an answer. But, there are so many types of cancer & within types so many variations. I remember reading about a woman that was 110 years old. She had cancer twice and twice survived it... and lived decades after. And I remember thinking of her story... and saying to myself that a person should never surrender or think it's the end. Not until the fat lady sings. That's the saying. Nothing is over... till it's over. This inspired me and made me look in another way at life. And I also perceived it like this... You could see a very old person and think their life is over, but you may be completely wrong. That older person may outlive all the other people who are younger. We never know what the future is going to bring. So... to me... every survivor is made even stronger and better. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger is a cliche, but it's a damn truthful one. I've seen this through myself too.
