Looks like she is taking over for Liz Korte

Given that Amy Jean is Anne's daughter, it would be reasonable to assume that her announcement that Anne is GH's script editor means that Anne is GH's script editor!

Script Editor covers continuity, right?

I think so.....but I don't know enough say too much because I don't want to give out wrong information.  Maybe you could tweet to Anne's daugther and ask her to ask her mom, "What does a script editor do?"   LOL

Three scriptwriters were listed today on GH. I've never seen that before.  There have been times where two episodes are stitched together, but not three.  Weird thing was there was only one breakdown writer listed.

Probably a result of how they film per what @titan1978 said about how out of order FV likes to film.

The signs really point to an even greater degree of episodes being Frankensteined together.

I've also learned that their process is a little strange. The day that a script is published, at that time, they write the previews or spoilers that are posted every week. Those go at that time to PR & they just sit there, no editing, no changes, no matter what in actuality may be happening to that script. So, then, sorta at the last minute, they look to see what needs to be changed in those bullet-like previews (or spoilers if you like.) They do it this way because it's the way they have always done it. (???!!) When this was explained to me, I was a little bit ... flabbergasted!

I agree. Or worse...cuts. Just watched Friday's and there was no Robert/Brennan in sight even though they are in the description for that day.

Right.  Shows film out of order all the time because of the sets being up and actor availability.  But to have three episodes stitched up is pretty unprecedented.  I was flabbergasted when three SWs were listed.  LOL

I just keep wondering if they are cutting out enough stuff they need to combine scripts. Like are we cutting an entire story because they want to retool it? Or is it simply a case of what you said- filming out of order and stitching. We know this summer that filmed material was dropped like Aiden’s coming out to Laura and other aspects of that story. It’s really wild!

Cutting out an entire story? hmmmm

And I was thinking that very thing when I was typing re: Aidan's story.

What is going on over there?

Speaking of multiple writers....Y&R standalone Sharon episode is up on YouTube:

the script writer title card
Jeff Beldner
Marla Kanalos
Marin Gazzaniga
James Harmon Brown

Assuming Marla edited the script instead of Marin and Marin wrote the breakdown, Brown wrote the dialog...assumption....

Lisa Connor has returned to Y&R as a script writer as of tomorrow's US (Canadian today) episode.

The title card again had Marla in the script editor position

Jeff Beldner
Marla Kanelos
Marin Gazzaniga
Lisa Connor
