Lindsay Arnold has exited the role of Allie Horton on “Days of our Lives,” reports Soap Opera Digest in its newest issue, on newsstands now. No reason was given for Arnold’s exit.

According to the magazine, the actress, who joined the soap in 2019, has already finished taping with a final air date yet to be released. The news follows last month’s revelation that Arnold had bumped down to recurring status according to the show’s on-air end credits.

No word yet on whether the show plans tor recast the character who is the daughter of Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas (Bryan) and is currently involved in front burner storylines.

Such a shame. She's one of the most charismatic young actresses the show has ever had.
