Well, for one thing, expect a lot of tear-jerking moments involving the disabled and the terminally ill.
But seriously. Michael Landon's family appears to be involved in this reboot, so I would expect it to feature the sort of family-friendly, life-affirming entertainment that Landon always prided himself on. I would hope that with Jason Katims involved, the characters will be more complex this time around. (In the original series, the "good" characters were too good, while the "bad" ones would make even the devil himself throw in the towel). But, as they say, time will tell.
