Soap Opera Digest says that Ashland wants to kill Victoria. He tries to fight her and she grabs something to fend him off. Nick arrives and sees it and he and Ashland get into a brawl. Amelia Heinle says something happens and this will drive the story for a while.

Also, Phyllis and Nikki plot for Phyllis to get a job at Jabot/Marchetti where she can secretly sabatoge Diane.

I wondered if it would happen sooner or later but I expected they would let the tension build to create a Murder Mystery, I actually thought they could've pair Jack and Victoria even if briefly maybe in a scam marriage to protect themselves from having to testify on the trial

i'm guessing Ashland gets hit in the head/falls and hits his head, is in a coma and wakes up with amnesia and thinks he's still married to Victoria, and Vic and fam play along because Victoria/Nick are guilty of causing it, etc. But Ashland is likely faking...

if his body disappears then he's def. not dead. They are probs gonna have a celebratory gala for all the Newman news (Nick and Vic returning to the company, etc) and Ashland will show up and announce that he's been named co-co-CEO with Victoria and Nicki - citing that he had a super secret meeting with Victoria and Nick where they buried the past... And Nick and Victoria with be forced to go along with things because Ashland has them dead to rights. Predictable. Boring. Fighting over a company nobody does any work at. LOL

that's all? lol The "worst" thing Ashland has done on a show full of convicted/accused murderers and kidnappers, etc. is fake having Cancer which is literally nothing compared to what everyone else revolving around him has done. Y&R would go to greater lengths to assassinate Ashland's character to justify an "accidental" murder by Nick of all people. I mean they turned JT into a complete psycho, but Ashland just calls Vicky some names and told her to go die in a fire? What about it? IDK how it's happening, but I guarantee you Ashland isn't dead and will be back. Get ready.

    • Hahaha!!! Not Naomi being sure Chelesa ain't filming this time!!!   At last! Kat is proven right!!!   And hey, Nicole's Doctor friend, hey!!!   So far...this is giving.
    • Leslie having the nerve to show up at the Dupree House was pure insanity. Bill being revealed to be more ruthless than anyone would have thought was a good development. I have to imagine that will change Dani's view of wanting him back. The whole reveal was well done and Trisha Mann-Grant owned those scenes. That was most definitely material for an Emmy submission reel.
    • I agree, all the Guys Tux were nice. I like how they differ from each other and all stylish in a way. Awe, same. Can not believe I actually have enjoying a current daytime soap. Rewatching these episodes over the weekend as a jump back into Ryan's Hope and Santa Barbara. Agreed! Exciting times.

And it was pretty dope we didn't know that tidbit before the reveal.
    • yes I thought of the Renee party... But this is different because I'm talking specifically about the revealer convincing someone else to throw the party.  And the someone else complies, having no idea what the revealer plans. I'm wondering if Michele Val Jean did a first with BTG in 2025. But the BTG thread is already so busy -- that I thought it important to *NOT* clog it up with discussing this, so I brought the question here instead. That way, if other reveals come up in conversation, it's not a problem on this "general retro soap" thread.
    • Well, good that they showed Vanessa though I wish she was there.   Lol. And here comes Naomi. AND an explanation from Jacob.

She is diabolical! Remember in this scene she offered Martin a brownie which seemed so random? In this episode its revealed that when he was a kid, Ted used to bring him to a restaurant where the waitress would give him brownies....that waitress was Leslie. She was playing games and trying to jog his childhood memory
    • Yay!!!!!! And made it ON TIME, TOO!!!   And this is giving DAYS reveals circa late 90s already.
    • Bish what? I was not expecting that, I was for sure expecting him to go after Nicole (He still can). Looks like Leslie put her out! I love these new developments, Eva Dorian Lording her way into Fairmont Crest. My good sis better trap that doctor.
    • It should be in its synopsis on the DVR description of the show.
