Agreed. There wasn't a need for some loving boyfriend and son situation outside of the convenience of why she didn't take Henry's calls the night he died. I still don't get why Henry can drive but couldn't have the concept of him calling 911 as a solution during his time of need. I understand that it's due to his not being able to adapt well to strangers but the same strangers would be the people he'd meet at the hospital, so... I understand the reasoning for script purposes but I don't get it from my perspective. I guess I just have to "get" that Henry's thought process isn't like my own due to the intellectual disability.
