With the success of “Days of our Lives” spinoffs, “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem” and “Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas,” for Peacock it’s not surprising that the other soaps are might want to hone in on something similar for their respective streaming homes.

In an interview with executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell, TV Insider recently sat down with “The Bold and the Beautiful” mastermind questioning whether fans might see more of the Forresters and the Spencers outside of the daily broadcasts on CBS. Turns out, that possibility could become reality in the near future.

“Yes. We’ve had conversations with CBS and Paramount+,” Bell revealed to the publication while discussing the show’s 35th-anniversary episode, which will air tomorrow, March 25 (after a national preemption today). “That’s something we’ve been considering. We’re not in production just yet. I’m sure the day will come when we do something specifically for streaming.”

With “B&B” airing a standalone episode dedicated to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and five of her most memorable loves, it wouldn’t be too hard for the soap to come up with something that could stretch into a five-episode limited series or two-hour movie for Paramount+, as “DAYS” did for Peacock, and it would be the perfect vehicle for the soap to gain even more international recognition as it continues its reign as the world’s most-watched daily serial.

That wouldn’t work since the show is available to such a large international audience. One of the big selling points to international buyers is the show being a half hour. It’s easy to slide into slots. This is why any new soap or reboot has to be a half hour with the amount of episodes it would need to produce each year.

Any “exclusive to Paramount+” content would be exclusive to another buyer internationally as well for their streamers.
