Thanks for posting, I love how everyone was at a loss when it was asked if soaps had ever tackled racism in any storyline head-on, lol.

 

Kudos to Rodrigo (I think?) for recalling the David Grant story on GL from 1993 - it's the only time in my soap viewing experience where I remember racism and systemic prejudice ever being discussed, and done in a thoughtful way.

Yeah, Rodrigo is very knowledgeable. I loved his story about his mother learning to speak English by watching soaps. Warmed my heart! 

 

I couldn't recall one story and ibed watched many soaps. Many!!!
