‘Another World’ Cast Reunion Set for ‘The Locher Room’

Another World, P&G

Fans of “As The World Turns” and “Guiding Light” have been spending time with their favorite denizens from Oakdale and Springfield, albeit virtually, and now it’s time to head to Bay City!

Former CBS publicist Alan Locher recently announced that the first “Another World” virtual cast reunion will stream live on Thursday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m. EDT/11:00 a.m. PDT via his YouTube channel, “The Locher Room.”

Joining Locher will be Bay City favorites Linda Dano (ex-Felicia Gallant), Stephen Schnetzer (ex-Cass Winthrop), Amy Carlson (ex-Josie Watts Sinclair) and Joe Barbara (ex-Joseph Carlino).

Since early April, Locher has been bringing former cast members from both “ATWT” and “GL” together as they reminisce, chat with fans and answer some burning questions. With the addition of “AW,” nearly 150 combined years of television history (more when including “GL’s” radio run) has been up for discussion on “The Locher Room.”

The “AW” cast reunion is scheduled to take place at 2:00 p.m. EDT, the same time period the show was scheduled to air on the east coast on NBC. After a 35-year run, the series aired its final episode on June 25, 1999.

You can watch a clip from the final minutes of the series below. The song played is “In This Life” by Bette Midler.

Hoping a lot of people will tune in for this and prove that people are still interested. Maybe someday someone at P&G might notice. ATWT remains my fave, but it's stirring to see AW get some attention, especially since their fans got left out of the SoapClassics collection last time around.
