Webmaster Errol Posted April 19, 2020 Webmaster Share Posted April 19, 2020 “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” is back with episode two of the widely popular viral sensation “The Longest Days of our Lives,” and this time the soap parody welcomes Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey to its virtual cast. Amassing nearly 10 million combined video views across multiple social platforms since the release of episode one on April 8, “The Longest Days” stars Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig, and newly introduced McConaughey, as they embark in some drama-filled antics including cheating spouses and the age-old “Who’s the Daddy?” type storytelling. NBC Shot over Zoom, the latest installment finds Vanessa (Wiig) learning she is six hours pregnant with an “internet baby,” requiring the expertise of Dr. DiNunzio (McConaughey) to find out who the daddy is. In last week’s episode, we learned that Vanessa was cheating on her boyfriend, Winston (Fallon), with his long-lost brother, Fontaine (Ferrell). Of course, Fontaine is only after the family fortune — toilet paper — and sought after Vanessa just to get his hands on the pot. Although the cast film their scenes in quarantine using video chat, Dr. DiNunzio is determined to reveal whether Winston or Fontaine is the father of Vanessa’s internet baby and even has a few more secrets to reveal. “Another brilliant episode of ‘The Longest Days of our Lives,'” wrote “Days of our Lives” head writer Ron Carlivati on Twitter following the release of episode two. “And don’t forget to watch ‘Days of our Lives’ weekdays on NBC. We are here for you during this difficult time, with all-new episodes Mon-Fri, chock-full of baby nappings, stabbings and back-from-the-deads…” You can watch both episodes of “The Longest Days of our Lives” below, and make sure to tune in next week for when the next installment drops.
