Did anyone watch this short lived syndicated soap when it was on in 1991 ? The entire series is on youtube. Here is the pilot. I never knew it existed even though I was 13/14 when it aired.

 

 

I loved this show. Sadly it didn't last too long. But i remember it was pure soapy fun.  I didn't know it aired in the UK. 

It's the American version of "Prisoner." I think it developed a bit of a cult following in some of the markets it aired in. I think there is material online from "The Richard Bey Show" or some other talk show where the cast comes on to plead its case to keep the show on the air. I watched a bunch of episodes about 6 months ago. The Cissie / Faith relationship is very well done. It's worth watching for that. I didn't really enjoy a lot of the other early storylines, but there were a couple of characters I liked. Maria, the woman who killed her husband, was particularly likeable.

 

And if you want to see how dedicated (and insanely brilliant, possibly crazy) the fans were, this is worth a look.
