It's only Tuesday and I feel like quitting work and going to a desert island to eat coconuts and peaches... of there are even peaches on desert islands.

So sorry but no, there wouldn't be peaches. 

Ruby, who is 15½, is very ill & in the dog hospital. Both her kidney & liver enzymes are elevated & she wouldn't eat. This is a dog who loves to eat. This might be it. Or we might have a few months. Keep us in your thoughts.

Thanks! This morning they say she is a little perkier & that she ate a tiny bit of food. They will keep her & redo the labs late this afternoon.

Last night, Ruby was interested in supper and ate it all! Her labs showed the numbers going in a good direction. She also has a serious infection and is on IV antibiotics. We still don't know much.

Today, 7-13, Ruby seems like herself, interested in things, sniffing, glad to see me & I her.

I hope she perseveres and surprises you all. I can't even imagine having a sick dog and how that must feel. May God protect her and give her strength to recover.
