Yeah, I haven't watched the episode yet and I'll take screenshots soon. However, my physical therapist gave it away when she goes, "Yeah, so I heard that almost half the cast is going to be recast." Now, I don't care if someone releases a spoiler, but it was the fact that I knew at that very moment when she said that to me as she was painfully stretching and pulling my arm, then I knew I was about to lose my Milly.

I enjoy pain, but to lose Milly so abruptly is not fair.

Okay, so Ty Tennant is the actor who plays Prince Aegon Targaryen II. That's the character who enjoys voyeurism masturbation, right? I don't know how to feel now as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen and Ser Criston Cole were like the IT factor. Like, if you're not them, then you're no one, lol! Of the recasts to age them 10 years later, they didn't want to keep Milly Alcock, but they kept Fabien Frankel? What. EVER. I like Olivia Cooke as Queen Alicent Hightower though.

Who is this Larys 'Clubfoot' Strong character? He just kind of popped up like a genital wart.

Oh, yeah. That's right. In S01E05. I totally forgot all about that. Well, since it has been a ten-year jump, I'm sure he and Queen Alicent Hightower have developed an untold relationship within that time frame. I was wondering why he ordered the tongues to be cut off of those guys in exchange for their freedom. Well,  because they cannot speak of it, but they can write about it I suppose. So, how many children does Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen have? It's 3, right? I wonder if the eldest son is Ser Criston Cole's.

OMG. Me too. I'm sure by now his back has been sucked on by a thousand blood-sucking leeches. I don't know how Queen Alicent Hightower does it.

The longer this show goes on the more it really does resemble Knots Landing, lol. The domestic family squabbles and ongoing pressure cooker of the many enclosed, suffocating social events they share, the long-standing personal and social grudges. Even Larys Strong and his new leverage on Alicent (beautifully and tragically played by Olivia Cooke) after events with the Strongs closely resembles Abby Ewing getting way more than she bargained for from a helpful business associate in Knots Season 6!

LOL! I haven't had the chance to watch it yet, but after taking these screenshots, I think I know where this is already heading! Yes, the drama and the scandal!

She's fantastic! I really like Queen Alicent now.   Those family scenes after the kids' fight (which was also great, I thought someone was going to get killed) was so damn good.  I loved the tension and in-fighting and accusations.

"I'm not a kid anymore, uncle. Please fuck me."  Ewwwww.......haha.

So gross. I'm still miffed that they took away Milly Alcock, but I sort of understand why they had to do a 10-year time jump. But, Rhaenyra Targaryen (played by Milly) and Criston Cole were so cute together. Now, she's an uncle lover.

Episode 1.8: "Say it."  "Her children.....ARE BASTAAAARDS!!!  And she is a whore."  Me:

Superb music for King Viserys entrance and walk to the throne.  He truly loved Rhaenyra and had to be there for his daughter one last time.  What a scene!

Episode 1.9: "You desire not to be free but to make a window in the wall of your prison." This scene between Rhaenys and Alicent was so good! That line by Rhaenys is one of the best from the season.   And then the dragon scene at the end.  This episode made me like Rhaenys.

Episode 1.10: Can they please stop with birthing scenes????  This was the most gruesome of all, and I had do periodically look away.   What was the point of Rhaenyra losing the baby?  I hope we get a Rhaenyra/Alicent showdown scene next season.  They are my two favourite characters on the show.

Incest question...... Earlier in the season, why did they make it seem like Rhaenyra and Daemon getting together was taboo, yet Viserys/Alicent's son and daughter married each other.  I figure incest marriage is mainly for strategy, but I don't see the point of Aegon/Haelena.  Why was Aegon/Haelena pairing okay?

    • I found it to be a rather odd way to deal with a character departing for parts unknown.

Luckily, EJ and Johnny, and pretty much every other character saved today’s episode.  I didn’t expect Javi to be the one to save Sarah though, and I don’t mind it at all, because if it means that Javi is finally going to get his own identity/character, away from his douchy bf, I’m all for it. Javi’s scenes would’ve been a lot better had it not been for him. EJ and Johnny were the best part of today. Their conversation hit a lot of important beats and I’m so looking forward to seeing them play out. And now that EJ knows that Johnny is going to work for Xander, that opens up another dynamic to their storyline and to the Kiriakis family storylines as well. Tying them all together could be really good. There are so many story possibilities that can come out of this. And I thought Carson Boatman did a pretty good job again too.  I also liked that Johnny was there to comfort Chanel after everything that happened with Sarah. They’re so good together. But I do have mixed feelings about Chanel possibly forgiving Johnny so quickly. Hopefully, the question that she asked him at the end of today leads to more conflict for the two of them.  And yeah, still no changes in Alex’s character lol
    • Awesome, thanks so much for taking the time to grab the episode. I had a quick review of your rip because I was curious why it was 700MB and 30 minutes. The first 10 minutes of the episode is 3169 (opening credits at 5 minutes and again at 15 minutes). The full HD version of ep.3170 is on YouTube channel:

    • Well, since I'm still up unexpected past my growing-into-it bedtime. lol.   I finally got to rewatch Monday's. I even rewatched Friday's to take it all in. Now that we got the reveal and hit the climax of the SilkPress Sheila storyline, now we get to watch the aftermath and/or turns that come with its climax. So far, so good. Friday left us with three cliffhangers. And what I found surprising was how I felt about them over a rewatch.    I know some of you all felt a way about the dialogue during Kat vs Eva. I remember liking it more the first time around and it was nice for them to have these scenes to establish more of a frenemy vibe for them going forward. That still held up. But I found myself agreeing with you all about that dialogue. lol. Still, it was nice to have both of their POVs.   Second up was Silk Press Sheila vs the Duprees. And I was happy to get a brief spat with Dani in there. But the rest standouts for me was Anita and Martin. Haters can hate and given the tail end of the episode, I will agree to a fault, but Brandon has impressed and he was on fire on Monday and had great subtle work on Friday. And that subtle work made it all the better. Like I believe I said when I was watching...BC has a much better grip on his character and seems to be realizing what his tics are so has started to be able to know when to turn it up and when to dial it down. And for the most part (emphasis on most), he got that. Meanwhile, TT was giving fierceness, and I was here for every minute of it. Her reading SilkPress. Her being quip about it. Her 'BE STILL.' Ooooo she had a chokehold on me as Anita gave what I was expecting her to SilkPress. WORTH THE WAIT. I also loved Vernon's CHOOSE SILENCE. I wonder though if SilkPress will figure out Martin's condition from her observing Anita and Vernon with him.   And speaking of worth it...Oooo YES Nicole vs Ted was worth totally worth it. Oooooo I knew DD would nail it, and it was all so well done. The fight between the part of Nicole who is a therapist vs Nicole as a woman who wants to express how she feels. And being so angry. And how there would be moments when it would shoot out of her. And how she would restrain herself. But how she felt she should not be restrain. Just the levels of processing and layers. And DD played it all so well. I do wish Maurice gave just a little bit more, but overall, I thought he did a good job even if it was just Ted coming across as a deadbeat and not at all redeemable. And Kat being there for her mother was so beautiful.   Minority, but I love the montage though yes, it did run a little long. Given how the Duprees like to bond (and also as I mentioned from my own very recent family experiences), it did not seem out of place to me.     That said...let's see how the aftermath worked in today's episode. Overall. Cuz RC can be hit or miss.
    • I wonder whose brilliant (

) idea it was to do an almost complete rip-off of the "who killed Tom King"-storyline. That's some quality style writing right there.....
