Members RavenWhitney
Amazing that Labine was the first GH head writer to win; of course, she kept shutting out GH writers when she won year after year at RH. Guza won the other three for GH Does anyone know which episodes Days submitted for writing in 2012 (winning)? That was the year that Macpherson/Thomas wrote 7.5 months and Higley wrote 4.5. Amazing how many of the soap writers are recycled when you look back at the nominee lists. That's what's wrong with these shows. Can we say: Sally Sussman?? Who shouldn't be writing YR right now. Terrible! Weird how YR won a string of directing awards in 80s then some in 90s then hardly any since. Bell hired some awesome directors that Latham dismantled and the show has never been the same. Sally MacDonald is the only one who knows the style of YR. Renfroe, Eilbaum need to go. Bring back Kathryn Foster, Mike Denny! B&B won writing four times but only three years are listed above. ?? Members Soapsuds
That's cause Y&R directing was stellar back in the 70's and 80's. No other soap compared. They had Heather Hill, Frank Pacelli, Mike Denney, Randy J. Robbins, Rudy Vejar, Kathryn Foster. I like Owen Renfroe directing but I've never cared for Michael Eilbaum's directing.
