Big Brother Canada 4

It's one of the worst casts I've ever seen on a BB...as was last season. The move to a bigger channel destroyed the show. Add in yet more idiotic twists (the house vote-in) and the usual poor episodes, and it's another waste of a season.

What a tedious finale.

I didn't love or hate the brothers and Kelsey, but we're already seeing [!@#$%^&*] final twos like our version. Moving to Global was a mistake. You saw it instantly in the casting last year, which is one of the worst seasons.

I really wonder how dreadful this season would have been without the entertainment of Nikki and Tim. Tim got on my nerves but I won't deny he improved this season. But he really should be thanking Cassandra for protecting him at key times. I can't believe I came away liking Cass because she played the game and worked it the entire time. Her clone Sabrina just collapsed in her game after finding out her alliance was hated by Canada. Take notes, Sabrina.

The last four seasons have had a lot of great players and personalities, though. I'm ready for an All-Stars. If we wait a few more seasons the pool of players able to be chosen gets smaller. Maybe not a bad thing but I can very easily put together a list.

I just don't understand why Canadians are calling this the best season ever. It was waaaay more entertaining than last year's misery fest of twist after twist. And a bit better of a cast, though not by a whole lot. Best? For me, that's BBCAN2, despite Jon's obnoxious ass winning.

And this may sound mean, but after hearing Paige speak, I'm glad she was the first one out. It would have been a long spring listening to the poor girl try and form a sentence. She seems very cute and nice though.

That sour, tedious jury (who define the term "extra"), were such a reminder of what a terrible cast this was. Wretched, dirty, dull. I'm so glad it's over. And I'm glad they had to chew their cheeks over the final 2. Boo hoo for them.

I liked the final 2 bc I liked Kelsey and the brothers. With that said, I thought she would win. The brothers were awful in their Q&A, well Phil was. He cant speak and Nick had to save his answers. Its amazing how i hated kelsey early on but grew to like her. Once again, an evictee fails to win the game. I thought she'd be the first returnee to win

Im just glad Cassandra nor Tim won. Both were awful

    • I was incredibly moved by these scenes, especially Peter's performance. It felt so tender and real, especially when you remember Bo just got out of a years-long coma and wasn't going to be able to put up a front. You're reminded of how long these legends have populated the show when you have a 70 year old man grieving men who were almost 90 or 100, but Bo's response to Victor's death was a poignant reminder of how fresh these wounds are no matter your age. Normally these types of moments don't even make it in soap episodes in recent decades as they are seen as too boring. The more somber moments being balanced by Bo meeting his grandchildren was also lovely.  And the scene where Bo forgave Shawn may be the only time I've been in lock with Brandon Beemer's take on the part.  There's a certain element of suffocation with soaps, as shown here, when you remember so many of the kids are named after long dead relatives, or when they grew up, were paired with the kids of other longtime characters. That aspect always makes me yearn for new blood (new blood that doesn't suck, anyway), but there are other moments, like those with Bo, which make me appreciate all the history the show has.
    • A funny scene, Roger and Sonni go out to eat, at that place that had a colonial theme (I love when soaps have very specific places to eat..I hated the diners on GL, ATWT and AW) and this is just after Rog came back and Sonni hit the headlines and the waitress scremes.."Oh, Roger Thorpe, and YOUR...please dont' hurt me..." and they are all like, "Hey, were just hungry!" (most soaps now have someone go on a murder spree and the rest of the cast and extras look like they havent heard about it."

    • Thanks as always @Huntress always appreciate you popping in and sharing info about these shows. What are you thinking of them at present?
    • Per Flixpatrol, it's been at 4-4-5 (June 3rd to 5th).   https://flixpatrol.com/title/days-of-our-lives/
    • Someone has been posted episodes from 1994 and Jill Powell (Marcy Lafferty) has a hot storyline right now. Just googled her and in real-life she is now openly out as a Lesbian with a transgender son.
    • Did anyone else notice that DAYS has not been in the Top 10 most streamed shows on Peacock this week??? I find that very strange considering how good the show has been, especially this week.
