April 4, 201510 yr Member Is NBC/Sony/Corday finally allowing head writers to write for the show? Some would say that has been the problem at times. Too much power in the hands of terrible writers. Corday is notoriously hands off, and when the show has EP's that don't challenge poor writing it always ends up in a slump. I think Tomlin has written exactly the DAYS he wanted too. I think Dena wrote the show she wanted with Tomlin's input. MarDar got interference, as did Hogan. I am not optimistic she can do anything worthwhile. Of the last 25 years of soap writing, I think she is one of the hacks.
