I have just read that in 1973, Carla Gray on One Life to Live was being followed by a mysterious man who was posing as a policeman named Lester Brock.  Do you know who played Lester?

That's one I've been looking for, @danfling. Do you recognize this actress from ATWT? She was playing the wife of the lawyer that Iva gave Liliy to as a baby.

That seems odd that the character was on for 7 years.Does anyone know anything more?

He was the houseman at the Sentells. I imagine he was seen sporadically. not regularly. I had him from 79-81, but other sources have him in 83, 85.  I saw his name in an 85 or 86 synopsis. I originally thought there was another actor, but seeing him credited in 85. I figured he was there til the end.

Lumm also appeared as Mr. Yakamura the gardener on GL in the Susan Piper/ Barbados story *84 and on Swan's Crossing 91-92

I am not sure about who you ask about, Slick.   Is it the actress playing Mrs. Brior, the older character.   Is that Marie Wallace from Dark Shadows and Somerset?

That's the character. I can't tell if it's MW, though.

It looks like Marie Wallace  with a lot of make-up.    The voice sounds much older, but it is possible that she is that good an actress to sound older.

 

I happened to notice that you mentioned Search for Tomorrow's character in an above post.   He kidnapped another character named Robin.  I believe that is the role that Marco St. John played.   (He was also on As the World Turns and on All My Children.)

Yep, I had the character and actor in the list, but I didn't know he was a kidnapper!

Two questions tonight:

 

1.  Do you remember or have any information on actor William Gleason.  I know that he played Detective Bauer on Ryan's Hope in 1981.   A writing (possibly his obituary) stated that he played on The Edge of Night for a two-year run.   I can find nothing about him.  If possible, would you shed some light?

 

2.  Bernard Barrow (The Doctors, Love of Life, The Edge of Night, Ryan's Hope, Loving) played two roles on The Secret Storm.   The second is very memorable.   He played Dan Kincaid (which I may have misspelled), a candidate for governor.   His first role was as a professor or possibly as the president of a college.   Can you tell us this character's name?
