That's awesome.

Now it's Kyle's turn to troll.

Ants.

A video posted by Kyle MacLachlan (@kyle_maclachlan) on

That's David Lynch directing someone - an "Al," very possibly Al Strobel (MIKE/the One-Armed Man), who was set to film.

Naomi Watts' Mulholland Drive co-star Laura Harring (also a former castmember of SuBe) will be attending the Twin Peaks Fest this year, as will MD's Bonnie Aarons, who played the terrifying bum behind Winkie's Diner. As both have yet to be affiliated with TP, there is a strong suspicion and likelihood that both Harring and Aarons will also be in the new Peaks. I love Laura Harring so I'm always glad to see her.

Here's a wacky turn of events: Mark Frost's upcoming The Secret History of Twin Peaks is also getting an audiobook edition. How this will work with the book evidently being an elaborate collection of found media/articles/etc. is an interesting question.

Meanwhile, Naomi Watts was asked about her role on the new TP at the Oscars and responded with a simple zip of her lips.

Ant-Man star David Dastmalchian and Mulholland Drive alum Patrick Fischler are confirmed. (Fischler is the man who runs afoul of the terrifying bum behind the diner in MD.)

I'm glad for her, but between casting someone who looks more like Reggie as Archie and claiming that Riverdale will be about dark subversiveness (which is basically a million teen shows over the years, most of them not that good), I doubt I'll be watching.

Not sure if Carl posted this before - FWWM does A Current Affair and other shows, clumsily.

Kiefer Sutherland briefly discusses his role in FWWM with the A.V. Club:

I think David Lynch is a very cool guy… and it was kind of a transitional time for me. [Pauses.] It was an odd time for me, working-wise and personally. I had kind of gone through a lot that year. I remember being really grateful that David Lynch had actually even thought of casting me in it, because I was a huge fan of his. And I wish I had been more familiar with the television show when I had done the film.

You had the advantage with your scenes where the only person from the television show that you were working with was Lynch himself.

Yes. Absolutely. You know, I think had I known the show a little better and known how quirky it was—even though I think my character was quite quirky—I might’ve gone a little farther with it.

And now a little night music:

Jennifer Jason Leigh talks to Metro and confirms her involvement while saying nothing.

Metro: Can you tell us anything about Twin Peaks?

Jennifer: No because I am not even allowed to say if I am in it or not.

Metro: Oh really?

Jennifer: Not according to my paperwork. Honestly no. All I can say is, I know nothing.

Metro: Were you a fan of the original series?

Jennifer: Of course, I hope they do make another one (Yes, Jennifer. You know they’re making another one…).

Metro: And it would be great to work with David Lynch…

Jennifer: Exactly (laughs), I would love to work with him.
