What was happening on GH this time last year? That's quite a jump especially compared to the other soaps.

Really impressed by GHs continued slow and steady climb... That's the way to raise soap ratings.. Slow and steady- GH is showing that!

how did GH do this year in terms of ratings compared to last year? they didn't top last year's ratings really, but the show is doing well overall, i'm sure ABC is happy

Am I missing something here? Those were big jump ratings, "good ratings" as it stated! I'm not seeing it at all! I like GH and want it to do well as I do for all soaps! But those ratings are not that great nor significant enough for me IMO to say GH is doing great! I was looking for something much bigger, no I wasn't expecting them to all of a sudden break into 3.0s, but I was looking for higher raitings in the 2.0s. I had missed the Nurses Ball, but there was no real hype or build up to it, unless I missed that! In past years when it was avidly a big part of the show and even last year when it was brought back during the 50th Anniversary, the buzz was much bigger! The promos led up to it and just a lot was going on that really provided a bigger impact. That was lacking to me, I could be wrong!
