Members Ann_SS
When I was young, I would get so angry at the Baroness for chasing Maria away whenever I watched The Sound of Music, but when I got older I appreciated how classy and stylish the Baroness was even though she was not too fond of the children. I felt for her as she dumped the Captain before he ended it with her. Eleanor Parker gave the role nuance that could have been the classic villain. Rest in peace, Eleanor. Members quartermainefan
I loved her in the movie HOME FROM THE HILL. It is a soap opera that could almost be a template for Dallas. Definitely worth checking out. RIP.
Members DRW50
I remember her for her Oscar-nominated work in Caged, a tough, depressing movie about a ladies' prison (Agnes Moorehead is also very good in the film).
Members I Am A Swede
It's always sad when stars pass away. There aren't many Old Hollywood stars left now.
Members VirginiaHamilton
I was more familiar with her in The Man with the Golden Arm, which I thought she was great in. In any case, RIP.
