I think the person who wrote the article was right when she said I don't want to watch this. I know she was arguing against the point, but all the things she mentioned really are too sad for me, even if it's treated as comedy.

I can definitely see why it would be too sad. But I have never seen anything like it and will absolutely try it out. I think it has the potential to be ultimately uplifting.

Watched the pilot. The show was fascinating & heartbreaking in its honest depiction of the everyday-ness of an extended care unit. I can see why the British would make the UK equivalent of this show. The episode didn't treat the extended care unit as fodder for comedy but simply observed the humor and hilarity that comes out of the workers' interactions, saying and behaviors, even if it is unbeknownst to the characters themselves that they are being funny.

Definitely not everyone's cup of tea but I appreciate how different and unique this was.

Thanksssssssssssss! I loved this show. I might rewatch S1 just to crack up. I love Niecy and Alex.
