GH: Actor now on contract

Nik is a typical Carlivati leading man - greasy, smarmy, smug, misogynist, what have you

As is AJ, really.

In fact, as are most leading men on GH - and the other soaps now that I think about it.

I do miss the days of the hero, the good guy. They seem few and far between.

I think SK AJ is a little more of the patsy/goofy, at least in how he's written and played. I think he was closer to that on his other shows though.

I miss it too. I guess there are a few on DAYS. They're always dismissed as boring.

I don't think that's true on every current soap of every leading man, no. Nor is it an excuse, or an explanation, or even remotely acceptable.

I really don't think A.J. is a misogynist today. I'm not sure Nik is anymore either. He has been in the past. I do think he is dangerously unwilling to take no for an answer from Liz.

This is unfortunate. Nikolas wore out his welcome the last time around. He has lots of fervent fans though.
