True on the bolded part.  Here's Gavin Newsom using the song. LOL

Not only do I love the lyrics, but I love the way she sings in this.   "You think I'm tacky, baby / Stop talking dirty to meIt's cheeky/playful.  LOL

Yes. I'm shocked by the online reactions (I should have expected them...) from people who clearly don't understand sarcasm and irony. They take her lyrics literally and start making up accusations... like... she "hates women" and is "catering to men" and is "MAGA coded". This shows how toxic society has become. People want her relationship to fail just to get more of "the old" Taylor. They want her single, miserable (not that single equals miserable... but they also want her miserable), and aligned with their agenda. GOD FORBID she finds a man, enjoys his wood, and wants to start a family. Like she's the first woman to want that. Hell... I'm a guy and I WANTED THAT all my life. And I too think my husband in some ways made my dreams come true. Why should I be ashamed to admit that? Am I catering to men too?

These people are disgusting for wanting her relationship to end. It's her life, and she can do whatever the hell she wants. I'm cheering for her happiness. Today, I'm playing 'Wish List' on repeat. It's a beautiful song. They don't even grasp her sarcasm - she's saying everyone craves material things and fame, but all she wants is to be loved and have a family. HOW IS THIS A BAD THING? This album has triggered an entire generation of entitled people who are miserable in their own lives, filled with jealousy and hatred for others' success and personal happiness.

All of this makes the album even more RELEVANT and important. I guess I should have known that all of this comes with the territory of being THE megastar of the world. They finally found something to trash her about... and won't stop until they see her crack. I hope Taylor never does. I hope we don't see her follow the footsteps of people like Michael Jackson or Britney Spears who got destroyed by the media and people's expectations of them after a certain point. But I have a feeling she won't be.

You know you're a legend when there is an entire community on reddit dedicated to hating you...

From all of the comments and topics opened by people claiming they don't like her or care about her... I get the opposite impression - that they are obsessed with her.

Also... from all the hate about her live performances... I get one other thing - they've been to all her concerts... 😂

It's actually romantic. ❤️

The Fate of Ophelia has such a familiar 1990s sound but I can't place it. I don't think it has a sample of any 1990s song though.
