That's great that she talks about working with "wonderfully talented people who took their jobs and their audience seriously."

It's not an easy job being a soap writer, and to me, even for the worst headwriters like Leah Laiman or Jean Passanante, and for any other writers like breakdown or script writers, I've never doubted that they cared about their work and that they wanted to do well for the audience and for their show. They just may not have known how to go about it.
