I hope they drag out the Colonnade Room. I get tired of them having these "galas" in warehouses or the GCAC.

That warehouses where they "planned" to have it last year was awful.

Yes it was. Maria needed her a** beat for that. No wealthy person would never attend a gala at a damn warehouse.

Only thing that I liked about that entire story arc/gala was the Abby/Carmine situation. The rest of it was tarnished by that mess of a character called Daisy and everyone trying to bash Sharon.

That was a warehouse? I thought it was the Newman Enterprises parking garage.

Actually, the rich use warehouses in NYC all the time. MAB was pulling from her own experience. They like using quirky venues in a never ending effort to be hip.

For galas though? Having worked in NYC among 'artsy' organizations, they may throw their Christmas parties at a warehouse or a quirky venue but they're not having a fundraising gala there, unless the historic New York Public library on Fifth Avenue or the Met is considered shabby chic.

Last I checked MOCA is not some shabby old warehouse.

Actually, we use "loft spaces" in NYC, Museum's and hotels. MAB is still an idiot.
