May 18, 201312 yr Member Sounds like the gala is coming back for real. Not that canceled at the last minute crap like last year THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS (Extras) Episodic Shoot/Start Date: various [ BENEFIT GALA EXTRAS ] Seeking attractive and physically fit male and female actors; any ethnicity from early 20's to late 30's with extensive upscale wardrobe for upcoming scenes at a benefit gala.
May 21, 201312 yr Author Member Do the extras have to outfit themselves?! I heard they do and they get paid a little extra for wearing their own clothes.
May 21, 201312 yr Member I hope they drag out the Colonnade Room. I get tired of them having these "galas" in warehouses or the GCAC.

May 21, 201312 yr Member Yes it was. Maria needed her a** beat for that. No wealthy person would never attend a gala at a damn warehouse. Only thing that I liked about that entire story arc/gala was the Abby/Carmine situation. The rest of it was tarnished by that mess of a character called Daisy and everyone trying to bash Sharon.

Actually, the rich use warehouses in NYC all the time. MAB was pulling from her own experience. They like using quirky venues in a never ending effort to be hip.
May 21, 201312 yr Member For galas though? Having worked in NYC among 'artsy' organizations, they may throw their Christmas parties at a warehouse or a quirky venue but they're not having a fundraising gala there, unless the historic New York Public library on Fifth Avenue or the Met is considered shabby chic.
