Does anyone know what Irna's kids are up too? I know here daughter wanted to write. I wish they would make an appearance at the emmy's.

Katherine Phillips is dead. She passed away several years back. Her son, Thomas, I believe is still alive.

I'm not sure how much Katherine wanted to write. In my search for information on Les White, who wrote an article on Irna Phillips, I came across a blog for Lynn Liccardo, who may have written for one of the soap mags. Anyway, Liccardo recently published an e-book on "As the World Turns" and was doing research on Irna Phillips. If I remember correctly, Liccardo interviewed Warren Swanson, one of Irna's subwriters who claimed Katherine really didn't do much writing or didn't enjoy writing. He also stated Katherine had done some soap writing under the name Katherine Babecki, a name I recognize, but hadn't realized was a pseudonym for Katherine Phillips.
