This is something that has been bothering me ever since the song came out, but watching the performance really made me mad. Is there a reason why Bono uses catorce instead of cuatro in the beginning of "Vertigo"? I wonder if he realizes that instead of saying 4, he's saying 14.

Bono said in an interview once that they didn't realize that they were saying 14 instead of 4 until the CD had been made. He said they are 4 Irish boys who obviously don't know Spanish very well.
