I'm not sure what a true reboot would mean. I can't say much of Dallas has worked in my eyes. It's mostly a lot of bad acting from anyone under 50.

Agreed. After watching one episode, I was done with that.

As far as the original question, as much as I miss One Life to Live, I don't miss watching daytime at all. If AMC and OLTL are to come back, I'll watch. Why not?

As far as Primetime pushing evevlopes, I personally don't see it. It's the same stories to me, just told with a bigger budget and in a shorter amont of time.

Skin cost more money. Just because it is on the net does not mean that PP will want to pay the extra dollars to show more skin.

Oh shush you :P I honestly didn't. I thought you meant network primetime soaps were all about pushing the envelope that daytime never does anymore--and I was curious which recent stories you meant, particularly as I don't really watch any current primetime network soaps (I'm afraid I gave up on Revenge...)

Ok, maybe examples, adultery story lines where the wife KNOWS and sticks with the marriage for the family. Or husband turns his wife into prostitution to survive in the recession. Teenagers plotting to or killing (or @least trying to) their parents so that they can run away and be together. I guess my idea for Soaps is sounding alot like a Life Time movie.
