Stevie didn't check anyone. She owned his ass in that scene

OMG! Rumor has it that Stevie will be getting his own spinoff when season 2 wraps up. Please let this be true

NY

Anyone catch the reunion part 2? Saw the first 15 minutes and Ronald McDonald clown trying desperately to be relevant. Did she really need to take off her shows and lunge at Raqi? Both them hos need to sit down.

I like Loreal. Probably one of the better females from the season

Real classy

I watched Part 2 of the reunion. The only women on the show I have respect for is Yandy and Lo'real. I hope she is a regular next season.

Donkey Teeth is a punk ass for hitting Joe from behind like that! I read that he and his Big Nose girlfriend have been let go.

Erica is so nasty. Ugh at that pic!

Also read Mona is retooling the show to focus more on the women's careers instead of these forced ass "love" stories. They need to drop Ronald McDonald, Winter's messy ass, and Raqi's trampy ass. This season was such a mess! Shame on me for continuing to check in on this BS. Guess I am a glutton for punishment

Oh yeah I liked Yandy too. She really redeemed herself after season 2 where she got way too nosy and instigated too much drama. I felt for her and her struggles with her family. She felt very "real"

When Mona was introducing the Erica/Rich/Tiffany drama she said "we cant even make this stuff up". I rolled my eyes and went 'yes you can and you DID!" That whole storyline was scripted. Bitch please.

S4 about careers? Theres gonna be a season 4? LOL. It sounds like its going to be boring. I guess it gets good enough ratings but I really think they should just focus on ATL and a potential Stevie or Jos show could take the place of NY. I still want them to do a Flavor of Love/I Love NY style show with those two. Those would be instant hits

Agreed Cheap, Yandy was a LOT better this season than what has been shown of her in the past.

Ew, that's Erica? Get that attention whore OFF of this show and it might be good again, that girl has nothing going for her either good or bad that warrants her a spot on this show. I wish their producers would pull what the MWs one did and can her ass if Mona don't.

    • You're probably right. They may have just wanted edits of certain characters. Hopefully the rest is around.
    • Of course!

I'm wondering if there were bits cut from this footage, because to me it seems that may be the case. At 11:23, Laurie tells her psychiatrist that the bar phoned and told her Mark got into a fight and needs to be picked up. It starts to fade to the next scene, you hear some different music begin and get cut off between the static, and where you'd expect to see the aftermath of the fight, we cut back to a later scene of Laurie in bed worrying about what's happening. The credits at the end also show that more than Mark, Laurie and Dr. Northcote should have been in this episode. Another character, Brody, played by Ed Setrakian, is mentioned but not shown. If this is the case, perhaps the original fan who saved this episode has the additional scenes.
    • Anyway… It’s a shame that the video that depicted Leticia’s death was removed from YT.

    • Ms. Phelps holds a BFA in directing from Carnegie Mellon University, awarded in 1972. At a time when women were underrepresented in directing programs, she was one of the few women in her graduating class. To suggest that she possessed no further talents than completely changing the style of music used on soaps seems like a vast underestimate when one reads her online biography through an objective lens. I guess that I should be more clever than to constantly blame misogyny for these misguided interpretations of her management style.  But, I'll never comprehend why fans unquestionably align their opinions even years after fact. Post-modernism, and the ability to reinterpret context through the study of history, seems to elude this conversation.

    • This is 100% correct.  It was even on the nightly news where the US Government would not let the cast and crew travel to Egypt because it was deemed not safe.  The Achille Lauro hijacking took place on October 7, 1985, when the Italian ocean liner MS Achille Lauro was hijacked by four men representing the Palestine Liberation Front off the coast of Egypt, as she was sailing from Alexandria to Ashdod, Israel. The location shoot was probably scheduled to be filmed in mid-October to air throughout November with a two week tape to air date.  Remember on the show they did some in studio scenes doubling for Egypt before shifting the action to Arizona.  It was an awkward end to a truly bizarre storyline.

New episode from late 1973 or early 1974!
    • Coronation Street had a very good story where one of the characters befriended a man who she later learned had been involved in her husband's death - when told right it can be very powerful (not like AMC trying to make it a romance). ATWT almost had a big fire in mid-1994, so this seemed to be a "thing" with P&G at the time. I guess it fits the disaster backstage atmosphere.
