Cruise & Duff should both win!

I've never thought of Tom as a great actor, but he SUCKED in War of the Worlds. He character had zero persoanlity, it was awful. And Duff just sucks at everything so they should give it to her.

They just pick popular stars who were in so so movies and nominate them. Half of the movies they picked I didn't think were all that bad.

Worst film: KING KONG

Yeah I know there's much worse out there but to me it's one of those "why?" movies. Why remake a film like that for any other reason than arrogance on the part of the director? It was a horrible snooze.

I think Jessica should win for her category. She was just awful. Dukes was just awful. My goodness i couldn't think of a worse movie in the year of 05'. Worst. Summer. Movie. Ever.

Christensen and Farrell shouldn't be there. they were great in their roles.

Honestly feel like this was a poke in the eye to long-time viewers. They kept Hope off the canvas for over 20 years, had her inexplicably miss all her son's major milestones, when they talked about her they made her into an incurable drunk.
Then it's like, "Hey! We didn't forget about her--let's have her cousin who doesn't know her at all keep her name for her baby!" Like they should get points for that. 😠

Primetime Soaps

I wonder if Beacon Hill might have had more of a chance in the Monday @ 10 timeslot following All in the Family and Maude as those shows probably scored well in demographics that might be more attuned to something like BH.
Tuesday @10 it followed Switch which was a pretty lightweight offering.
But CBS didn't want to move Medical Center which was well established in that timeslot.

Yes it was odd to schedule FC Xmas Day. Just throw on a movie. Dallas was pre-empted so why not FC?
FC had just started and needed that Dallas lead in to establish itself.

Top temperature in Madison Wisconsin today is 42. At 7 pm assumining that's when characters were outside it is 35. Those GC residents are of hardy stock.

I'm sure I'm way off base this time, recasting-wise, but I've wondered whether Norman Lloyd, who worked with Alfred Hitchcock and Orson Welles, and who portrayed Dr. Daniel Auschlander on "St. Elsewhere," might've made for a better Edward recast than John Ingle.
