Days: SOD Spoilers

Well hmm, Shawn IS Zach's brother and I have been to MANY funerals in my life and not once have I EVER seen a member of the immediate family, much less a mother/father/wife/husband EVER give the eulogy.

Also since WHEN is this story all about Shawn??:blink: IMO he has been pretty nonexistant in alot of the family scenes, so I am actually happy that he has an active role in the funeral.

I haven't been to one funeral where the immediate family DIDN'T give the eulogy.

I am glad it is Shawn. PR and KA have grieved a lot. I want to see more out of them, don't get me wrong. But Shawn's like over it already and got caught up in Claire.

I am intrigued to see this.

I'm with you, but I rationalize it as something that delusional-tired Belle and Shawn hearing what they wanted to hear, so it's not so bad.

Rationalize about Days? Never considered that option. Hmm.

But, Cook sucked the life out of the Christmas Story reading. This is why i dread this. He doens't have the chops, man.

It's almost like Days of yore: where you think/know you won't be affected with the intended emotion (ie: sadness), enjoy it with the mocking and laughing at the attempt.

Not this story. I have better things to mock and laugh at. B)

Frankie/Jen Kiss

Matt Ashford on Feb 8

it's exactly like I said in that other thread ... Jack has been dead since early December and only now Frankie & Jen are kissing right as he's coming back. This whole absense was a waste of time cause they did absolutely nothing to build Jen/Frankie up.

You probably were watching a different Show then?! Because i don't agree with you.LOL :)

That's your opinion and i don't agree with that.. He have plenty thank you :D

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I don't see the problem with that angle on the story and I think Shawn giving the eulogy is perfect since it may be too hard for Hope to give it and Bo may be the wrong person given the circumstances. We really don't know-Hope and others may give eulogies too. SOD may have only highlighted Shawn. They often do random things like that so there may be others to speak too.

I Couldn't agree more :)

Jason Cook may be a bad actor and the eulogy may not be alll that great, but I am glad that Shawn is giving it cause it gives him the closure he never got.

I second JC's butchering of the Christmas Story.

I Don't think so,but then again im a huge fan of JC/Shawn so im biased. :P
