Yeah I don't know how anyone could come away from this not thinking Maxie is at least a bit culpable for what happened to Robin. What if Robin never came down to check on Patrick? What if it was Patrick who was locked in the room and couldn't get out? All fingers would point to Maxie causing the accident to happen. She caused the situation to transpire and put everything in motion.

I think I would first blame whoever is in charge of lab procedures, policy and design. It shouldn't be possible to cause a freaking explosion by putting down your purse.

I just rewtched the scenes and the handle came off very easily. The thing definetly was messed up before Maxie entered the room. Not sure how that can be proven though considering the place exploded. She'll probably just have to live with the guilt
