Members EricMontreal22
There are some shirtless photos that just leaked of him in front of a green screen (where he DOES have bruising/dirt makeup on so Carl should avoid ) and the muscles look pretty built to me. I admit I've had a crush on him for a while--as uninspired as the movie looks.
Members EricMontreal22
Cage was a bit over five years back, though he would have still been too old. It was when they wanted a really dark "thinking man" (cough dunno why that would be Cage) take on the role. Apparently they still want him darker, in this movie but not quite as. Members Skin
Wow. I'll have to disagree with the last 12 or so responses. Superman Returns was amazing it was a film that had a story, action and characterization at the heart of it all. It was an action film that had both plot and character development the whole way threw. All of the actors did a competent job in all of their roles and I found Routh to be likable. The only reason the film "failed" - I use that term loosely because it grossed well over $250 million dollars - was because it wasn't a regular action film that was played like a bizarrely cut porn flick with crazed special effects like the Transformers films are. Superman is also seen as being decidedly "uncool" superhero figure the past few decades the same way Batman was before Nolan took over. In today's film market an action film has no story and you are bombarded with ten or more minutes of insane edits and action sequences every thirty minute interval and that is deemed "cool" by societies standards. People just seem to want a popcorn flick in action movies these days, not a real story. They want explosions, fire, blood and gore and in general big things that go boom. Members EricMontreal22
I actually liked Superman Returns when it came out I admit--had some issues but was pleasantly surprised. But I haven't seen it since then and haven't trusted my reaction. At the time I remember thinking it felt like a nice third part to the original two (I'll ignore Superman III and IV)
