February 18, 201214 yr Member Heather Tom will be starring in the Broadway play, The Heiress which has a run from April 24 to May 20. Not sure if she will be doing that an B&B at the same time but thats quite a bit of work so I can imagine her being written out for at least a month to work on this http://losangeles.broadwayworld.com/article/Pasadena-Playhouses-THE-HEIRESS-to-Star-Richard-Chamberlain-Heather-Tom-and-Julia-Duffy-20120216#ixzz1mknJRQNc Edited February 18, 201214 yr by Cheap21
February 18, 201214 yr Member Is this play the same as the movie that starred Olivia de Havilland and Montgomery Clift? If so, I think HT will do a great job. She's very talented.
February 18, 201214 yr Member It's not like Katie's on that much. Surely with their taping schedule, it wouldn't be had to pre-tape enough scenes to mitigate any time off she wants.

You got a point there. I wonder though if they will write her out with Donna. JG is pregnant again and with her story ending with Nick's upcoming departure, I can see both Logan sisters taking a vacation and visiting Stephen wherever he is, with Donna staying for an extended length of time by the time Katie returns, presumably in late June/early July, assuming HT does go on hiatus
February 19, 201214 yr Member JG is preggers? I guess I haven't paid attention. I guess they could officiall send her out of town, but the way B&B has spent entire weeks with nothin' but the kiddies on, most of the adults don't get airtime anyway.

It is==the movie was adapted from the play (which is adapted from Henry James' Washington Square)--and I agree it's a good fit for her.
