The show has issued a casting notice for a 22-year-old leading young lady to play a refined, outspoken and spunky Ivy League graduate. The description also says that the character comes from money and was raised on the East Coast. Might this newcomer be related to a family already on the canvas?

The contract role is due to start taping in early February.

Must be. There were rumors last year before fall (while Thorne was getting a story with Taylor) that Alexandria will be SORASed, but I guess they postponed it or something.

Not surprised, they need some type of female set -- since I believe Gina Rodriguez is on her way out Thanks to that ABC talent deal she now has. They're male to female ratio will be off once more but then again I believe Bell likes it that way.
