January 10, 201214 yr Member Yeah for the past few years I've noticed that on news programs--even CNN--and often the youtube clips are very low quality. It just seems so lazy to me--and don't they usually have to get the rights to show something? (The other clips seemed to be youtube too actually--like the Daytime to Remember clip of Vicki in the hospital bed...)
January 10, 201214 yr Member I was shocked when I saw that. I really have never seen a Youtube clip put out that way, not for this type of profile. I guess they just slapped everything together. At least it got Joe Gallison back on TV...
January 10, 201214 yr Member Yeah, on at least two programs I have seen Dynasty clips with "courtesy of YouTube" at the bottom of the screen. Catfights, of course.
January 10, 201214 yr Member See surely that runs into some copyright issue. I swear, soon they'll just youtube to rerun old tv shows
January 10, 201214 yr Member What awards did the musicals win? I did enjoy most of this, aside from again bringing up that bullying story. I'm glad they mostly interviewed Erika. I think they got that black and white clip off of Youtube... Cameron is too gaunt in the face. I think that the first one won a Daytime Emmy for best original song ("Chemistry") or something... January 10, 201214 yr Member Chemistry was one of the slightly better numbers, mainly because Kathy Brier did her hardest to sell it...
January 10, 201214 yr Member Watched some of Dateline on ABC tonight and they had a thing about movie trailers--they showed bits of the classic trailers for The Shining, Psycho and Alien and ALL of them were clearly from youtube (the Psycho one was not even of good Youtube quality--) which just seems so lazy when all of those trailers are easy to find on their DVDs, etc.
