If they were smart they would've hired Genie Francis as a Casey recast, a role she'd fit better in. Instead they went for that gimmicky "bitch" character which she couldn't play. Well, when Genevieve loses her damn mind over Jack, she could kidnap Casey, perform plastic surgery on her to make her look like Genevieve, then slip out of GC with a phony disguise, leaving "Genevieve" to prove to everyone that she's really Casey.

The angel is being played by Missy Yager (or Melissa Yeager as she appears in the credits).
