I got more excited after watching these two interviews, along with little snippets of what's to come for them, and for the show.

It's pretty surprising, in a good way, that Austin and Carrie changed careers the way they did. It should definitely cause some tension between the two of them in a realistic, and uncontrived way.

I also love how close Christie and Drake are. You can see it in her face when she talks about him.

So this is gonna be a case where they ignore a recast, no matter how long that recast was on for, because Austin Peck's Austin didn't seem smart enough to cross the street by himself much less get any degree (maybe a third degree burn).

Wasn't AP Austin an exec at Titan for a while? Then again in the late 90s it seemed like everyone was working at Titan.

Well, any soap character can be a "business person" if they're related to the right people.

I knew you were, I was just trying to remember. Honestly I've never seen either actor as overly capable of playing brains, but that may be because of that awful character Muldoon played on Melrose.

AP's Austin also ran a successful media company called Austin Reed & Friends Co. That he ran out of Sami's living room.
