September 21, 201114 yr Member Wow, Ron's (I refuse to call him Meta) dismissal is the earliest any pro athlete has been eliminated. Even the NBA crowd couldnt keep him in a week. I have to say he came across ALOT more likeable on this show than Ive ever seen him
September 21, 201114 yr Author Member Elisabetta is annoyed at being linked to George Clooney: She's escaped the model "curse" for now. But many in the ballroom witnessing Tuesday night's first DWTS results show of the season were surprised when Italian host, spokesmodel and actress Elisabetta Canalis escaped elimination. It wasn't that her dancing was a disaster; the 33-year-old scored 15 out of 30 points Monday night for her cha-cha with pro Val Chmerkovskiy, a point higher than the star who was ultimately sent packing, the L.A. Lakers' Ron Artest, now officially known as Metta World Peace. But nobody seems to have a clear idea of who Canalis is. She's famous in her native Italy, having spent 12 years on television. But in America, her biggest credit is from 2010 as a recurring character in five episodes of the TNT series Leverage. What really brought her into the spotlight — and gave her a profile high enough to be chosen to dance — was being the girlfriend of the world's most glamorous bachelor, George Clooney. But the two split in June after two years together. And that puts Canalis in a decidedly uncomfortable position. On Monday night, the video package introducing Canalis to DWTS viewers included a photograph of her and Clooney. Did she mind? "I didn't really like it," says Canalis, visibly uncomfortable with the subject. "But it's okay." Then, she adds, "I didn't know it [was going to be part of my introduction]. That's what I really didn't like." What does she want American viewers to know about her? "Just that I have fun in my performances on Dancing With the Stars. If this leads to other opportunities for me, I'll be happy." http://www.tvguide.com/News/Dancing-Stars-Elisabetta-1037855.aspx

September 27, 201114 yr Author Member Why was there a section of the audience who did not clap after Nancy finished? RUDE!
September 27, 201114 yr Member Apparently they had to put in a random audience shot because they were trying not to show that Nancy Grace had a nip slip.
September 27, 201114 yr Author Member Poor Nancy. She really has to try and control them a little better.
September 27, 201114 yr Member I thought the best of the night was JR. He is turning out to be the breakout star for me
September 27, 201114 yr Member Apparently they had to put in a random audience shot because they were trying not to show that Nancy Grace had a nip slip. I didnt even realize that till I went on the internet this morning. I didnt get Tom's joke about "it being okay for the European version" till now
September 27, 201114 yr Member OMG no wonder! I felt bad for Nancy because I thought that was live audience reaction. I went online to see if Nancy said or did anything this week that would have pissed everyone off. Btw, Nancy's dance partner is HOT! I love JR too - I'm really enjoying getting to know him now as JR and not Brot - he is so full of life.
September 28, 201114 yr Author Member Btw, Nancy's dance partner is HOT! OMG I know!!! Love him and his accent. Hope he sticks around for more seasons.
