OLTL: Speculation about Jess/Ford

It IS possible to have a real romance brought together after time passes in certain cases. Note that Jessica isn't pursuing the "rape" charges. Those online are.

Oh I'm not saying time doesn't heal wounds, I'm fine with them getting along. I just find the romance angle of the equation sickening. The problem isn't that Jessica isn't pursuing the rape angle, it's that the writers chose to have her not pursue the rape angle if that makes sense.

Even if she doesn't want to charge him for rape, what kind of romance is it when the man has no interest in you unless you are an alternate personality?

Unfortunately, we both know that's going to change soon

Fortunately these two are so rarely seen it won't matter. At least someone at OLTL may have realized, too late, that Bree Williamson and the Fords are ratings losers.

It was alluded by Jerry that the only reason Ford and Jess got backburned was because they weren't sure if the actors were staying for the entirety of the ABC run (ahem Bree ahem) so I'm sure we'll be seeing 13 episode count months from both of them from October through the end.

I'm sure that has something to do with it but James and Natushelah have also been appearing less and less.

Unfortunately, there will be more Jess/Ford as we head into September and likely beyond, I'm afraid....

Right in time for a ratings drop.

I don't care as long as their scenes don't intersect with anyone else's. Jessica as played by BW is worthless, as is Ford.

At this point, Nash Brennan is inclined to agree.

There has to be a way to coax Erin Torpey into returning permanently as Jessica. ("You want us to drop the "Tess" angle? DONE!") BW sux, and I'd hate to see what another newbie would do in that role. :(
