Sarah Brown joining DAYS

I HATED Sarah's black hair. Maybe because her being on GH made me wish they revealed her as Carly (longtime original recipe Carly fan, honestly). The dark wasn't terrible, it just got to a point that it was TOO dark and then she kept growing it and the show kept dressing her in dark colors after trying to de-emphasize the red her character was originally brought on loving. At that point, I couldn't really stand her character.

I thought the dark hair was awful and I know Sarah hated it too. I thought it made her look very harsh and maybe that was the point. I thought her performances were decent as Claudia but great acting could not save how despised the character was by the fans in general. I too wish they would have brought her back as Carly. The only character she's played I ever loved her in. I am cautiously optimistic about her character on Days. Sarah is really a very hard actress so vulnerability is the key and she has the ability to bring this to the character if thats how she's written. I could almost see Megan Ward in that role who has a beauty and softness yet can be very cutting and has an air of sophistication about her. But hopefully these writers know how to write strong yet vulnerable and powerful women without being edgy or overly bitchy.

I liked her black hair but Im glad she's going back to blonde. When I see her, I don't wanna be reminded of Claudia.
