The future will show which ones of us were right. I believe that they will air past season 12... At least till 2005-2006. Some of you don't. I have my own reasons, you can disagree all you want.

Also I never said that all Dutch people are not fluent in English, but there are a lot of them that need subtitles and don't know the language to that level. I've visited Netherlands many times... And I have my own impression of this. That's why they have the subtitles. If they didn't need them... They would air without subtitles.

Also... A lot of things are on YouTube... But they still air on channels and stream on platforms.

We also don't know how much money Bold is paid for the classic seasons, so some of this is pure speculation.

And... Videoland has shown time after time that Bold classics are in their top 5 watched shows... Quite frequently.

I doubt they will remove one of their top 5 shows because episodes are being uploaded on YouTube.

Yes, they will cease at some point, but it will not be for a few more years.

And just a reminder...when Bold started uploading season 10 on YouTube there was the same sentiment that maybe Videoland will cease at season 10. Well... They didn't. So history has shown that what is being uploaded on YouTube doesn't deter Videoland.

So all of this combined with the person who was in contact with them and they told him they do plan to continue airing the next seasons...

I am like 99.9 percent sure they won't stop soon.

I do hope I am right.

i want to say a Huge thank you to our Angles for uploading 1997 and 1998 episodes and just hope and pray that Videoland will continue to show B&B and that some good people will share the episodes with us in the Vault!

Abbott vying for a Forrester while battling a Logan. Classic. William J. Bell would've enjoyed it. And then Ashley was sparked with Storm (then William deVry, who was nearly Tucker on Restless).

She started great and she had chemistry (Ashley) with the whole cast... but just 4-5 months in... Bradley grew bored with her and it all went downhill.

Sadly I think the same will happen to new Taylor and the rest of the newbies... who are already in their twist of the day phase, just before HE (the one who shall not be names) gives them the exits.

I just pray to God I live to see the day Liam is written off.

I don't think Brad got bored with Ashley at all. For me it seemed that someone at CBS realized what a colossal mistake they did by letting Eileen Davidson go from Y&R - and hence Ashley returned to Genoa City. If I recall correctly, Eileen Davidson had a full contract year at B&B around her full contract guarantee of episodes. Pairing her with Kyle Lowder was cringe but in general she proved what an amazing actress she is. Her stint on B&B felt seemless to her decades of work as Ashley.

Maybe... maybe not. I don't know. I still think she started strong, got interesting and the last 20-30 episodes with her... seemed like Bradley doesn't know what to do with her - which could be BORED or Knows-she-is-out too. I don't have much more info on it.

Her exit from Restless was because she spoke-out against Lynn Marie Latham, so the result was she was cut. When Maria Arena & Hogan Sheffer were brought in, they crafted up the Victor/Ashley reunion storyline, which is what prompted her return to Genoa City. I do believe had Arena & Sheffer not been put into their positions, Davidson would have stayed at Bold for longer than she did. But clearly, Bradley Bell knew she'd leave eventually.

    • I did not care, just clarifying that was the discussion point. If there are ice cream bars in Statesville I am sure there is a full spa
    • Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.
    • No.  I recall there was also a mention about how distracting it was EOB's Gwen wasn't wearing nail polish as well.  That it was someone's pet peeve. And, yes, the fact characters can have a manicure in prison is the wildest continuity issue here.
    • Can anyone remember Mary Ellen Stuart's run as Jenny? I'm trying to fill in the cracks for missing stuff that we overlooked.  Bulletpoints:  * Dated Ross * Rusty's police partner * Directly responsible for Dinah coming forward about George Stewart (Cam's father)
    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton twirling his invisible moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?
