Members DRW50
Wow I can't believe the comments area dusted out the old canard about Bill Cosby hiding Our Gang due to racism. Anyway, I loved many of the Our Gang shorts (I tend to stop caring not long after Alfafa shows up), and those with Jackie Cooper were a high-point in acting, writing, and the musical score. Just consistently funny, sometimes very moving, and great rapport between the kids. While you can tell he was going on to bigger things, those, especially the Miss Crabtree episodes, were some of his best showcases ever. I also enjoyed that cheesy old People's Choice, which I haven't seen anywhere in an eternity (it briefly ran on one of those Good Time type channels, along with other rarities like Wendy and Me). Members Max
Those of us under 40 primarily know Cooper as Perry White from the Christopher Reeve "Superman" movies. It was a role that he played perfectly.
