That was a very dramatic week on Days in 1998. One of the only good things about SSM IMO. The character of Franco was so pointless. Patrick is the same way but at least he has family on the show. I am actually surprised we haven't seen him hired by Kate to break up Bo and Hope but I do think Tony hired him or used him for that purpose during the island story (I could be wrong though). I will never understand why they even attempted to pair Franco with Sami. The only thing I liked about it was Sami for once had a man who was duping her as opposed to her duping a man. She actually had a man for once without scheming during her time with him. Franco was pointless as is Patrick but Patrick at least has connections although he has worn out his welcome.
