A lawsuit has been filed against ABC by the children of GENERAL HOSPITAL creators Frank and Doris Hursley, reports TMZ.com. The suit claims that the estate of the creators is owed "10% of all profits from the syndication of the show" and alleges ABC has not honored their part of the deal. TMZ continues to say that the Hursley children are asking for a judge to intervene and force an audit. A show spokesperson had no comment on the suit. One ABC insider told Digest that the suit has no merit and, in light of the recent soap cancellations, called it, "A last ditch effort to get blood from a stone."

So does this involve Bridget Dobson?

I assume so, since it mentions their daughters, and well...she is one of them!

10% of syndication profits-I can't imagine that would be too much as GH has had limited syndication around the world and would not command big dollars anyway.

Why would they be asking for money now? After the Dobsons lawsuit with New World over SB,you think they might be wary of legal battles.
