Yup. I liked the concept of Angie getting sick because of something they were forced to do resulting from cutbacks but that was lousy execution of a potentialy good story. How hard would it have been to watch a few old episodes of ER and steal from that?

Exactly! That said I think it makes sense to add to Jesse and particularly Angie's grudge, and distrust of him but I wish they'd have pulled itback by now. When somethign terrible happens you often look for a scapegoat or excuse, and let's face it in this case David was a good one and it made sense--but the way he "caused" her blindness was so indirect and as much her own fault, that to hear them still rant is a bit much.
